In late July I spent a day shooting for the lovely people at Iconemesis who were planning a relaunch of their brand. They are now called Harper & Blake, after the brand's dual reincarnation. The new brand is based on the relationship between the two friends with contrasting yet complimentary personalities. Harper represents the minimal, chic and sophisticated, whilst Blake is bold, eddy and feminine.
They are still very much the beloved Iconemesis brand, just bigger, better and way more stylish. To go with the relaunch have extended their products, providing a new range of silk scarves and more beautiful iPhone and Android phone cases.
The team I worked with on the day were absolutely great, and it was so nice to be shooting on what turned out to be a sunny London day in the midst of what had been a grey and rainy week. We chose various graphic and bright locations on the South Bank to shoot the campaign, and I am super happy with the results.
For the shoot I used a Canon 5D Mark III and EF 50mm f1.8 lens, which is my trusted combination for all of my fashion and portrait shoots at the moment. I've always loved the clarity and depth of field that the 50mm provides, and it is such great value for money that I will definitely always have one in my camera bag!
